Course Goal / Objective

It is the ability to transform original designs, which are hand-drawn or prepared in computer environment, into quantity patterns in digital environment, to create GIysi technical drawings in digital media as vectors, and to create effective presentations by using product-oriented dressing methods.

Course Content

The lecturer teaches the students the Adobe Illustrator image processing software to create designs for different textile groups and the techniques of drawing in vector format using the program tools of Clothing Technical Drawing for supporting the Clothing Design course. Students prepare and present assignments and projects aimed at improving their design-drawing skills and using Adobe Illustrator image processing software effectively.

Course Precondition

The course has no prerequisites. However, if the student has not taken or failed the computer aided design courses of the previous semesters, he/she may not be successful in this course.
