Course Goal / Objective
The purpose of this course is to provide the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to understand, correctly pronounce, write and use medical terms related to all body systems and organs.
Course Content
This course includes the historical development and importance of medical terminology, the principles of formation of medical terms, frequently used prefixes, roots and suffixes in medical terminology, and information on frequently used medical terms in systems.
