Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to gain a theoretical foundation for the use of econometrics in the analysis of economic relationships, understand econometric definitions and concepts, and apply statistical analyses to interpret the results.
Course Content
This course covers topics such as the concept of regression, bivariate regression and the OLS estimation method, assumptions of the classical linear regression model, prediction and inference in bivariate and multivariate regression models, dummy variable regression, violations of classical model assumptions and their consequences.
