Course Goal / Objective
To gain knowledge and skills related to human body systems and biomechanics, kinesiology and pathomechanics of these system elements.
Course Content
Definition of biomechanics, topics covered by biomechanics kinesiology, movement and movement types, general mechanical principles, structure-properties of bone tissue, structure-properties of cartilage tissue, mechanics pathokinetics; mechanics and pathomechanics of muscle function; mechanical properties of collagen tissue, and pathomechanics, classification of body joints, movements in joints according to planes, lever systems, balance, orientation planes and coordinates.
