Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to identify microplastic and nanoplastic pollution on a global scale and learn control and removal methods to minimize the threat posed by microplastics and nanoplastics.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of the formation and definition of microplastics and nanoplastics, their effects on living organisms, transport of persistent organic pollutants and heavy metals by microplastics, hydrodynamic transport of microplastics, control and removal of microplastic pollution.
