Course Goal / Objective
Since art is a tool to explain people to people in many different ways, it is aimed to realize that each person has their own characteristics even if they are in similar conditions through literature, which is a branch of art. In this context, when law is related to the problems experienced by people, it is discussed with students by using literary works where the general and abstract rules of law may not coincide with the specific conditions of each person.
Course Content
In the first lesson of each academic year, a theme such as freedom, courage, hope, etc. is chosen and works of literary figures such as Shakespeare, Kafka, or some films are discussed in the context of injustice and the search for justice.
