Course Goal / Objective
Gains fundamental knowledge about architectural lighting, gains theoretical and practical knowledge about artificial lighting schemes in indoor and outdoor spaces, gains knowledge about national and international standards and regulations related to lighting, understands the importance of lighting-energy relationship, creates natural and artificial lighting design schemes within the framework of lighting standards
Course Content
Basic and theoretical information about lighting design, the relationship between lighting and architecture, light sources, lamps and lighting devices, energy consumption in artificial lighting, natural lighting systems, artificial lighting design schemes in different functional spaces.
