Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to develop knowledge and skills regarding the properties of concrete and steel and the behavior of reinforced concrete as a building material, reinforced concrete structural element behavior, reinforced concrete column, beam and slab design according to current regulations, calculation methods of structural elements under the effects of bending moment and axial force
Course Content
The content of this course includes information such as material properties of concrete and steel, bearing capacity calculation of elements under the influence of axial force, bearing capacity calculation of elements under the influence of bending moment, double reinforced beam calculation, table section calculation.
