Course Goal / Objective

To enable students to define key concepts related to language and linguistics; to analyze the nature of human language, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, morphology, and writing systems.

Course Content

This course covers the nature and general features of language, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, morphology, and writing systems. Students analyze these concepts and explain them with examples.
