Course Goal / Objective
Teaching English teacher candidates the elements of effective communication and enabling them to use them. Teaching the fundamentals and usage of effective communication to English teacher candidates.
Course Content
The content of the course; The definition of communication and effective communication, its elements and characteristics, the language used, self-awareness, effective listening and feedback, factors that hinder and facilitate communication, persuasive communication, the role and use of emotions in communication, effective communication techniques, conflict in communication and its prevention, non-verbal communication skills, rules of conduct in social life; etiquette and courtesy, communication practices and the adoption of the relationships of communication with other disciplines.
