Course Goal / Objective

The goal is to achieve the skill of determining the most appropriate strategy when making decisions.

Course Content

The course content includes an introduction to game theory, where fundamental concepts are covered. Strategic interactions are analyzed within the framework of Nash Equilibrium, and classic games such as the Prisoner's Dilemma are examined. Additionally, the topic of mixed strategies, where players adopt random strategies, is addressed, and the characteristics of perfectly competitive games are evaluated. Within the scope of finite and infinite repeated games, the strategic outcomes of repeated interactions are discussed. The differences between incomplete and complete information games are highlighted, and the role of information in the strategic decision-making process is explained. Finally, the fundamental distinctions between static and dynamic games are examined, and the impact of the time dimension on strategic decision-making is evaluated.
