Course Goal / Objective

The comprehend of the importance of nature mathematics and science in early childhood, the presentation of teaching methods and materials used in math education, the goin of skill and knowledge in application process

Course Content

Definition and importance of mathematics in early childhood, principles and standards in mathematics education; techniques and methods to teach mathematical concepts and scientific thinking skills; mathematics education and play; acquisition of basic mathematical concepts , problem solving, matching-comparison-classification-sorting-pattern creation, numbers and counting, teaching stages of the number concept, symbols, operations, geometry, spatial perception, measurement, data analysis-graphics / probability, planning and implementation of mathematics activities; definition and importance of science education in early childhood, scientific process skills, methods used in science education.
