Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with basic information about immigration definition, the nature of migration in and out of the country in different contexts (children of migrant workers, migrant workers, refugee children, etc.). The reasons for migration in our world and our country and the effects on children, gender issues such as migrant children and the effects on their families, etc., to make controversial discussions, to follow the developments in this subject and to apply them for the education of these children

Course Content

definition of immigration to the students, migration in different contexts (yörük, migrant seasonal agricultural workers, refugee children etc.) in Turkey and abroad, the causes of migration in the world and in our country and their effects on children, the effects of migration on children and their families in terms of gender, migration to follow the developments made and practices for the education of these children.
