Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is; By establishing a connection between cinema and mythology-mythological elements, it is to examine film narratives from their mythological aspects and determine the conceptual framework of the mutual relationship network between them, and to examine films that derive their origin from mythology.
Course Content
In this course, the projection of mythology in cinema is determined and the ways of using mythological elements in film studies and research are examined. The contribution of mythical elements to the formation of the narrative structure in cinema and their transformation into film narratives are analyzed through the 'journey model' in the narratives.
