Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to teach the sources of drugs that affect body systems (endocrine system, respiratory system, digestive system), mode of actions, uses and doses, nutritional pharmacology (vitamins, minerals), chemotherapeutic drugs (antibiotics, anthelmintics, drugs affecting protozoans and fungi, antiseptics and disinfectants) and to to provide an ability of appropriate and conscious drug use.

Course Content

The content of this course consists of autonomic and central nervous system, cardiovascular system drugs, hormonal system pharmacology, fluid-electrolyte and acid-base system pharmacology, respiratory system pharmacology, digestive system pharmacology, nutritional pharmacology, chemotherapeutic drugs (antibiotics, anthelmintics, drugs affecting protozoa and fungi, antiseptics and disinfectants).
