Course Goal / Objective
At the end of this course, the student is expected to list important viruses, bacteria, parasites and fungi that are pathogenic to poultry, identify the symptoms of these infections, explain their pathogenesis and select and apply the necessary methods for laboratory diagnosis, explain diseases that may occur due to nutritional deficiencies, take the necessary precautions for protection and control, and prepare a vaccination schedule.
Course Content
This course covers the epidemiology, diagnostic methods, nutritional deficiency-related diseases, prevention and control of important viruses, bacteria, parasites and fungi that cause poultry diseases.
