Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to teach pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of drugs, general and specific knowledge for clinical use; to teach the sources, effect, uses and doses of drugs affecting body systems; to provide an ability of appropriate and conscious drug use.
Course Content
The course includes definition of drugs, sources, classification, nomenclature, structure-activity relationships of drugs, pharmacokinetics of drugs (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion), modes of action and effects of drugs, prescribing, drug forms and preparation.
