Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to teach biodiversity and nature conservation approaches.

Course Content

Meaning and importance of biological diversity, Distribution of biodiversity, Centers of biodiversity, Threats arising from loss of biodiversity, Measurement and indicators of biodiversity, IUCN Criteria, Biodiversity in Turkey, Biodiversity and Global Warming, Nature conservation approaches, Sustainability.
