Course Goal / Objective

To be able to do qualitative studies in the field of Mathematics Education

Course Content

What is scientific research? Characteristics of scientific research, steps of scientific research, types of scientific research, introduction to qualitative research methods, data collection in qualitative research: observation, analysis of observation data, data collection in qualitative research: interview, analysis of interview data, data collection in qualitative research, examination of written documents, analysis, case study: case study, reporting of data obtained in qualitative research, examining qualitative research patterns in mathematics education, collecting, analyzing and reporting data based on qualitative research method in mathematics education.
