Course Goal / Objective

The aim is to obtain first-hand, consistent and accurate information about the nature of the relationship between the scholars and rulers of the Mamluk period. In the light of these data obtained in this context, the attitudes of scholars towards the military, political and social events of the period and their effects on those in power, the judicial / legal aspects of the scholars.

Course Content

Examining the nature of the relations between the government and the ulema in the Mamluk State and their development in the process.
