Course Goal / Objective
Children and literature will provide an inevitable need for children to learn values that they can apply to their own lives. Bringing children together with contemporary literature products and authors emerging with changing living conditions will positively affect their linguistic and mental development.
Course Content
The developmental characteristics of children who are the target audience of the course; emotions, thoughts and imagination worlds will be discussed. The characteristics and importance of children's literature, types of children's literature, the development of children's literature will be examined. What kind of literature should be for children will be examined.
