Course Goal / Objective
To gain a theoretical, scientific and up-to-date perspective into the developmental, psychological, socio-cultural etc.factors effecting learning and teaching; reflecting this perspective upon their experiences or observed situations
Course Content
In the content of this course, the definition and working areas of educational psychology are discussed. An overview of developmental theories is presented by examining the basic concepts and principles of development. In addition to developmental domains such as cognitive, emotional, social and physical, different theories related to learning and teaching are emphasized. Developmental factors affecting learning and social-cultural interaction elements are also detailed in the course.
