Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to provide students with knowledge and understanding of the history of solution-focused therapy, the basic philosophy of solution-focused therapy, the basic principles of solution-focused therapy, the client-counselor relationship, techniques, stages of solution creation, problem definition, goal development, well-structured goals, types of goals, goal setting techniques, and protective factors.
