Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce the histological techniques used in aquaculture, research areas using histological techniques in fisheries and the fish tissues by using histology atlas and by giving examples from the studies.

Course Content

Histological techniques used in fisheries research, selection and application of histological techniques, introduction of equipment used in histological studies, differentiation of tissues from histological sections in fish and evaluation of sections are the content of this course.
