Course Goal / Objective
To gain the ability to visualize written media content and make it suitable for publication in digital media. To gain the ability to design multiple pages such as newspapers, newsletters and magazines using Photoshop and Indesign programs at intermediate level. To gain the ability to design content to be used on social media platforms and websites.
Course Content
The importance of computer use in the media industry Introduction to graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Video editing and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) Audio editing and mixing software (Adobe Audition, Audacity, etc.) Animation and motion graphics design (After Effects, Blender, etc.) Digital content production processes Interactive media and web design applications Software integration and file management in media projects
