Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how digital technologies and social media are changing communication strategies and tactics across different industries.

Course Content

This course analyzes social media in its socio-historical context and varying theoretical perspectives. New media technologies provide a variety of new uses and have many different features compared to traditional media. This course summarizes these new features of new media technologies and examines how to use these features for good social media management.
