Course Goal / Objective
Microalgae in the aquatic environment are a source of food, shelter and protection for many living things in nature, as well as a cheap and valuable raw material used by humans in food, chemistry, medicine, cosmetics, agriculture and energy sectors. To gain knowledge about the importance and applications of microalgal metabolites.
Course Content
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills about the definition, classification and biosynthesis of primary and secondary metabolites in microalgae and how to obtain these metabolites.
