Course Goal / Objective

This course aims at enhancing students' theoretical, conceptual and practical knowledge and analytical thinking on EU governance, EU politics and institutions. In this course, undergraduate students will learn about the European integration process and integration theories. It is also aimed to understand the problems and crisis of the European integration and analyze these problems with these theories in this course.

Course Content

This course covers a wide range of theoretical, conceptual and contemporary topics on European integration process. The course begins with traditional theories on European integration and continues by analyzing how contemporary critical integration theories explain current developments in European integration. In this regard, in order to analyze the most current crises of the European integration, students will read some of the key texts of integration theory.
