Course Goal / Objective

This course focuses on technology-ethics, science-technology and human-technology relations or the political dimensions of technology

Course Content

In this course, the concept of technique and technology, the concept of technique in ancient and medieval times, the concept of technique in the modern period, philosophical approaches to technology, the questioning of science and technology in Heidegger, the future and technology, technology and ethics, and discussions about technology in the postmodern period will be discussed.
