Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide information about the theories developed about the various factors that constitute and affect the decision-making process, and to examine the factors that affect the decision-making process of the individual in the personal, social and professional life in a theoretical context.

Course Content

The content of this course is the basic concepts of decision making, the theories explaining the decision making process: Normative (Rational) Theories (Expected Utility theory), Descriptive theories (Expectation Theory, Regret theory, Social decision theory), Decision making models and strategies, and reasons of irrational decision making
