Course Goal / Objective

Those who develop theories and knowledge about nursing care models, health organizations and the field of internal medicine nursing, integrate their knowledge and examine it from a broad and deep perspective, have the ability to determine the necessary steps to reach new syntheses, carry out research that will create evidence, comply with the legislation related to the profession. and to train expert nurses who follow the regulations and reflect their knowledge on the nursing profession and public health and lead changes.

Course Content

This course provides in-depth information on the place, importance, roles and nursing care of internal medicine nursing on issues related to nursing care models, health organizations and policies, legislation and regulations related to internal medicine nursing.

LO03 The student thoroughly examines the knowledge he/she has regarding health organization and policies, reflects it on the nursing profession and public health, and leads the changes in this regard.
LO04 The student conducts research that will provide evidence in the field of nursing with the nursing knowledge he/she has and makes professional contributions with original thoughts and methods by expanding the boundaries of knowledge in the field.
LO05 By following the legislation and regulations related to the profession, it uses strategic decision-making processes and creates interaction in nursing and health care problems.
