Course Goal / Objective

It aims to teach sustainable tourism movements, terms and concepts, to raise awareness about the protection of natural and cultural resources by evaluating the environmental, economic and socio-cultural impacts of tourism activities.

Course Content

Sustainability Concept and Basic Principles: Economy, Ecology, Equality; Sustainability and Tourism Relationship: Basic Concepts; Environment and Sustainable Tourism; Economy and Sustainable Tourism; Society and Sustainable Tourism; Sustainable Tourism Management; Sustainable Tourism Strategies; Sustainable Tourism Market: Marketing Approach; Sustainable Tourist Product and Service; Sustainable Tourism Practices in the Accommodation Industry; Sustainability Practices in Restaurants.
