Course Goal / Objective
It aims to teach students the concept of recreation, its types and its importance in the tourism sector. It also aims to provide basic knowledge and skills in planning, management and sustainable use of recreational activities.
Course Content
Time, leisure and recreation, Individual and social dimensions of recreation, Classification of recreation characteristics, examination of activity areas, Examination of participation in recreational sports, Definition of recreational sports and teaching of programming principles, Tourism in recreation, Marketing in recreation, Planning in recreation management, teaching of programming, Use and operation of facilities in recreational activities, Planning of recreational activities.
