Course Goal / Objective

To provide basic knowledge and skills about the operation, management and role of tour operators and travel agencies in the sector.

Course Content

Travel distribution systems, Classification of travel agencies, Travel agency organizational structure, Organizations related to tourism and travel agencies, Legislation Related to Travel Agencies, Travel Agency Transactions, Agency Related Agreements, Concept of Tour Operator and Place and Importance of Tour Operators in the Distribution System, Package Tours, Reasons for Preference, Production of Package Tours, Package Tour Consumption Stage and Tour Operator-Meeting Agency-Hotel Agreements, Tour Management in Travel Agencies, Transfer Transactions, Package Tour Operation.
