Course Goal / Objective
The primary aim of the course is to provide students with an in-depth explanation of the fundamental principles of digital printing technologies and how these technologies can be applied in textile design, as well as to teach the integration of digital tools in creative design processes. It thoroughly examines the historical development of digital printing technologies and the current applications in the textile industry, while equipping students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills on how to effectively use these technologies in their own design projects.
Course Content
The course will focus on how digital design tools can be integrated into creative processes, how design thinking can be expanded, and how innovative textile designs can be developed. While enabling students to understand digital printing technologies and their creative and innovative uses, the course will also encourage them to conduct work that is compatible with current and future trends in the textile and fashion fields, taking into account sustainable and ethical practices.
