Course Goal / Objective

Within the scope of the lesson, it is aimed that the participants will have knowledge about news literacy in the digital environment, check the reliability of the news circulating in the digital environment, make the distinction between information and comment in the news, use news verification methods and tools, and learn to question the compliance with journalistic principles and ethical principles in the news.

Course Content

In this lesson, news literacy is addressed within the scope of using news verification tools and methods in the verification process by critically approaching the news produced and circulated in the digital environment.

There is no prerequisite for the course.
