Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to analyze social movements emerging in society on the basis of topics such as gender, ethnicity, class, and the way they are presented in the media.
Course Content
Within the scope of this course, social movement theories, the causes of movements and the foundations of the emergence of new social movements will be examined conceptually and theoretically, how the media environments are actively used in directing social movements, what effects media discourses have on the course of movements will be examined.
