Course Goal / Objective
The research process, which evolves into an article or application project, ends with the realization of a concrete project.
Course Content
The theoretical background of this course, which examines the relations between architecture and type design, consists of the history of typography, the anatomical features of typefaces, and the three-dimensional use of writing. Examples where typographic elements are used indoors and outdoors for artistic expression or information are examined. Simultaneously with the examination of creative practices, the student proceeds to the point of choosing his own project proposal.
