Course Goal / Objective
The Plant Protection course aims to teach students how to identify plant diseases, pests and weeds for agricultural production, teach them control methods and how to apply them in agricultural production, with both theoretical and practical applications.
Course Content
Plant Protection course teaches plant diseases, pests and weeds identification, control methods used to protect plants and increase productivity in agricultural production. The content of this course focuses on basic concepts and applied methods for pest, disease and weed control. Students learn chemical, biological, physical and cultural control strategies and gain information about integrated pest management (IPM).
