Course Goal / Objective

In the Teaching Principles and Methods course, contemporary teaching methods and techniques based on student-centered, effective and meaningful learning will be emphasized. For this purpose, the course content includes constructivist learning theory and methods and techniques for meaningful learning.

Course content Constructivist learning theory, Multiple intelligence theory, Concepts of method and technique in teaching, Micro teaching, Brainstorming, Six hat thinking technique, Demonstration technique, Simulation technique, Concept Map, Higher order thinking skills, Lecture method, Question and answer method, Discussion method, Role playing and drama method, Teaching through presentation, Cooperative learning, Problem solving method, Case study method, Invention learning, Inquiry based learning, Problem based learning, Project based learning.
