Course Goal / Objective
To enable students to realize the properties that should be found in books related to mathematics lesson and to decide which books they can use in teaching.
Course Content
In the content of this course, the criteria for analyzing field textbooks are discussed. By examining the studies on textbooks, it will be emphasized to recognize the books in the field and the basic criteria that should be considered in these books. Within the scope of the course, appropriate criteria for the evaluation of textbooks in the field will be determined and these books will be evaluated in terms of effectiveness, content, language, visuality and pedagogical suitability.
