Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to teach basic and advanced techniques for hand, foot and nail care. By learning the anatomy of hands and feet, students will be able to perform appropriate care practices in terms of health and aesthetics, and will be able to apply professional manicure, pedicure and nail decoration techniques in accordance with hygiene rules. In addition, they will gain the ability to provide correct care recommendations to customers by learning about nail diseases and treatment methods.
Course Content
Hand, Foot and Nail Anatomy: Hand and foot structure, nail anatomy and functions. Hygiene and Health Rules: The importance of hygiene in hand and foot care, sterilization and disinfection methods. Manicure and Pedicure Techniques: Professional manicure and pedicure applications, material use and care stages. Nail Diseases and Treatment Methods: Nail fungus, ingrown toenails and other common diseases. Nail Decoration Techniques: Nail polish applications, nail art and prosthetic nail techniques. Foot Care and Relaxing Practices: Supporting foot health with medical pedicure and reflexology. Professional Practices: Applied studies, customer relations and professional service delivery.
