Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge about hair coloring techniques. Students will specialize in the sector by learning hair dyeing processes, color theory, choosing the appropriate dye for the hair structure and professional application methods.
Course Content
Color Theory and Color Wheel – Basic color information, primary and secondary colors. Hair Structure and Coloring – The chemical structure of the hair, its pigment structure and its interaction with the dye. Hair Dyeing Techniques – Straight dyeing, highlights, balayage, ombre and sombre applications. Professional Dye Mixtures and Selection – Dye selection, lighteners and toning according to hair type. Chemical Processes and Protection Methods – Oxidation process, hair health protection techniques. White Covering Techniques – The most suitable dyeing methods for white hair. Hair Color Lightening and Covering Procedures – Decoration, hair color lightening, darkening techniques. Hair Coloring Mistakes and Solutions – Techniques to correct wrong dye applications. Customer Communication and Consultancy – Understanding customer expectations, choosing the right color and maintenance recommendations.
