Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach reflexology methods at a theoretical and practical level, to enable students to learn about foot, hand and face reflex points and to understand the applications of reflexology in the field of health and beauty.

Course Content

History and Basic Principles of Reflexology – Origins, development and scientific basis of reflexology. Anatomical Fundamentals of Reflexology – Effects on the nervous system, blood circulation and energy flow. Foot Reflexology – Foot reflex points, application techniques and effects on health. Hand and Face Reflexology – Reflex points in the hand and face area and their therapeutic effects. Reflexology Techniques and Applications – Finger pressure, circular movements, relaxing and stimulating techniques. Effect of Reflexology on Physical and Mental Health – Stress management, pain relief and energy balance. Planning Reflexology Sessions – Customer analysis, session duration, things to consider in reflexology applications. Ethics and Professionalism in Reflexology – Practitioner responsibilities, hygiene and ethical rules. The Place of Reflexology in the Beauty and Spa Industry – Reflexology applications in spa centers, the use of reflexology as complementary therapy.
