Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to raise students' awareness about the introduction, preparation and application of natural skin care products. It is aimed to develop healthy and sustainable skin care methods using vegetable oils, natural extracts and organic ingredients.

Course Content

Introduction to Natural Skin Care – Differences between natural and chemical products, the importance of organic skin care. Skin Types and Natural Care Methods – Selection and application methods of natural ingredients suitable for skin types. Vegetable Oils and Their Uses – Benefits of argan, jojoba, almond, coconut and other herbal oils. Natural Masks and Peels – Herbal mask and peeling recipes that can be made at home. Herbal Tonics and Serums – Preparation and use of natural tonics such as rose water and lavender water. Effects of Clay Masks and Minerals on the Skin – Effects of different types of clay (white, green, red) on the skin. Aromatherapy and Skin Care – Skin health benefits of essential oils and application techniques. Natural Solutions for Skin Problems – Herbal solutions for problems such as acne, blemishes, dryness and sensitivity. Natural Sun Protection and Moisturization – Chemical-free sunscreens and moisturizers. Preparing Natural Skin Care Products at Home – Formulating creams, lotions, soaps and toners with natural ingredients.
