Course Goal / Objective

In English: "Wheat, barley, oats, and corn, among other cereal crops, are highly important for Turkey's agriculture sector and economy. Our country has a long history of grain cultivation dating back to ancient times and is one of the leading grain producers in the world. Cereal crops serve as a primary food source for millions of people in Turkey. There are numerous biotic and abiotic factors that affect the yield of cereal crops. This course will provide detailed information on the recognition, biology, damage patterns, and control methods of insects, mites, nematodes, and other animal-derived organisms that cause damage in cool-climate cereals (wheat, barley, oats, rye, etc.) and warm-climate cereals (corn, sorghum, rice, etc.) within the scope of this course."

Course Content

The information provided covers the recognition, biology, damage patterns, and control methods of insects, mites, nematodes, and other animal-derived organisms that cause damage in cool-climate and warm-climate cereal crops in our country.
