Course Goal / Objective
Understanding free radical chemistry and antioxidant defense
Course Content
Introduction to oxygen toxicity and reactive oxygen species. Chemistry of free radicals and associated reactive species. Antioxidant defenses. Oxidative stress. Determination of free radicals and other reactive species
Course Precondition
Being a graduate of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Food Engineering, Fisheries.
