Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to convey the approaches about modern drug delivery systems to the students with current literature information and to give information about the characterizations of the newly developed systems.

Course Content

Bioadhesive systems, Transdermal systems, Membrane controlled systems, Matrix controlled systems, Osmotic controlled systems, Diffusion controlled systems, Abrasion controlled systems, Time controlled systems, Gastric retained systems, Topical Drug Applications: Ocular systems, Nasal systems, Otic systems, Rectal and vaginal covers systems.
