Course Goal / Objective

In line with sustainable development goals, it is aimed to take an active role in the energy sector planning process. Raising awareness and efficiency in this context.

Course Content

Sustainable development process, planning hierarchy and sectoral planning process in Türkiye, planning processes in Türkiye and other countries, applicability of SEA. The process of formulation of energy sector policies, plans and programmes, definition, principles and stages of Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) which provides a integrated approach in the energy planning process.
