Course Goal / Objective
The aim is to equip students with the ability to interpret and analyze events in Turkish political life, as well as to foster a close understanding of Turkish political dynamics.
Course Content
The scope of this course entails analyzing the political events, actors, and developments occurring throughout the late Ottoman and Republican periods in a cause-and-effect framework. The course covers political actors, institutions, figures, parties, ideologies, and globalization.
